Position
The Strategic Pricing Manager will set the strategy (pricing & asset) and provide advanced knowledge of pricing principles to the business, to maximize profitability of the product portfolio. In this role, you will identify and quantify areas of value for customers and implement a pricing strategy and selling approach across the organization. Additionally, you will be the key responsible for the optimal deployment of their assets across the chocolate product lines.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Define and lead the overall pricing strategy and gameplan for chocolate & compounds based on internal and external Supply and Demand outlook.
        • Define and handle the overall value strategy that supports commercial, product line and sales teams in customer interactions.
        • Partner collaboratively with business partners to advise, define and deliver new methodologies for value quantifica on aligned with business and customer strategies.
  • Responsible for accurate chocolate S&D.
  • Owner of supply review (IBP cycle); Responsible for utilization on rates and stock strategy for all cocoa WAF/EMEA assets cross product line.
  • Pricing owner for high complexity (global) accounts.
  • Develop economic value propositions for value drivers including value identification, quantification and value creation models pre and post sales.
        • Create, own, and lead the process, tools and information for value communication, value selling and value pricing in the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related ?eld or equivalent experience.
  • Proven affinity with asset management and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with strategic pricing as an end-to-end process from strategy development to pricing techniques, governance, and tooling.
  • Strong analytical & conceptual skills.
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience.
